Profile
Dr. Robert Joseph Ochieng is a linguist and educator whose academic interests and areas of expertise focus on examining how grammatical structures reflect cognition, cultural knowledge, identity, and social transformation, particularly in Okiek, Dholuo, and other Kenyan languages. His interdisciplinary research also engages with language documentation, linguistic typology, cognitive and cultural linguistics, Natural Language Processing (NLP)-informed linguistic inquiry, curriculum development, public policy, and Human Resource Management (HRM). He has strong interests in sustainable development, education reform, and youth empowerment through language, culture, and knowledge systems
