The Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) course is a four-year course. The course comprises of a total of 52 units. It is stage based which means that the student have to undertake all the units offered in a semester. The course trains teachers who will teach children between the age of 3 -9 years. The course consists of lecture sessions made of face-to-face and virtual learning lectures, practicum sessions and an attachment in an early years education centre.
Upon completion, our graduates can also get employment as teachers and in other sectors such as NGO’s, County Education offices and other sectors that deal with children. They are also trained on entrepreneurship skills which place them in a good position towards running their own schools. The graduate will also be legible for registration with TSC which is the employment body in Kenya
